How we got here

Airportica is live with community queue reports, verified terminal guidance and in-terminal offers. Here’s the path we took.

  1. 2023 — Problem spotted

    Travellers told us: queues are annoying, but wasted spend is worse — you never know what’s actually worth buying.

  2. 2024 — Field tests

    We mapped live pricing and service speed at airport retailers in multiple hubs and let travellers rate them in real time.

  3. 2025 Q2 — Private beta

    Travellers shared live tips (“Gate C is quiet”, “-30% skincare at Shop X now”), and it spread fast.

  4. 1 Dec 2025 — App live

    Airportica launches with AIRPOINTS, the live community feed, and verified in-terminal offers.
